    Program Summary:

An annual chocolate seder...always a favorite!

    Full Description:

This year, we're making this a co-ed event!

For the afikomen, we're using chocolate matzah and having a race between the chapters to see who can find it first!

Here's how our seder plate works...
    pineapple (fruit salad-charoset)
    honeydew (fruit salad-charoset)
    cantaloupe (fruit salad-charoset)
    grapes (fruit salad-charoset)
    white chocolate-covered pretzel rods (z'roa)
    chocolate egg (beitsah)
    bitter chocolate (maror)
    strawberry (karpas)

    When describing the plagues...
    licorice (blood)
    gummy frogs (frogs)
    chocolate chips (lice)
    raisinettes (flies)
    chocolate sprinkles (flies)
    non-perils (boils)
    mini marshmallows (hail)
    gummy worms (locusts)
    dark chocolate hershey kisses (darkness)
    animal crackers (livestock)
    * we plan on making our own "first born"
    giant marshmallows (head and body)
small pretzel sticks (arms and legs)
    gummy rings (yamaka!)
    fluff (holds it all together)
    writing frosting (to draw faces!)

Also, we're dressing up chocolate bars as Passover characters, and putting on skits with them! (or maybe just making a scene from the Passover story, and judging whose is the best!)

    COST...
*Well, for this event the cost for members is $10. However, for every prospect you bring that joins, you will receive and iTunes gift card!!
*Prospective members pay $5 each, however the event is free for them should they decide to become members!

    Submitter's Suggestions:

If possible, include a chocolate fountain with some great food to dip! (strawberries, bananas, pretzel rods, rice krispie treats, fountain chocolate)

This event can be kinda pricy to plan, so to cut costs, definitely MAKE YOUR OWN CHOCOLATE MILK (chocolate syrup and milk!) It ends up being significantly cheaper!

Be prepared with...hadgaddas, yamakas, plastic cups, plastic forks, plastic table cloths, paper plates, napkins, "fondue forks"

At least in New Jersey, we have pretty nice weather around Passover time! Having the event outside is a great option, maybe play some beach volleyball or capture the flag afterwards!
